Looking for your next career adventure?

Find a new way of looking at the world in your career with Sage.

Our people are the most important ingredient for us to do what we do best- solving problems and making meaningful change.

To do that, we provide a unique environment where roles are about more than a job title.

We’re a home for curious problem solvers, who want to do good work with good people, build skills that stick and leave the drama llamas outside.

If that sounds like your kind of adventure, read on to find out if we’re a team you’d like to join.

Why work with us?

People spend nearly a third of their life at work. That’s 90,0000 hours. That’s far too long to be working in a job or at a company where you don’t feel like it’s delivering you value. We have built in our employee value proposition into our KPIs- find about more about the benefits of working with Sage.

  • At Sage, every consultant wears multiple hats, often in the same week. You might sketch a client journey on Monday, audit a claims process on Wednesday and help craft a grant bid for a regional not-for-profit on Friday. Because we’re compact, you’re never boxed into a single discipline or sector.

Instead you collect frequent flyer points across insurance, worker’s compensation, financial services, superannuation, health and social impact projects…. building a portfolio that would take years to amass in a siloed firm.

Flexibility isn’t a policy, it’s our operating model.

Do you think you’ll be a good fit?

Our values and our mission are more than skin deep. Our work may be well presented, but it goes much deeper than the paper, sticky notes or digital walls it’s written on. Have a look at our philosophy and values and see if our mission resonates with you.

  • Shared values matter more than matching titles.

We’re looking for curious problem‑solvers who thrive on variety and are happy to learn on the fly. Our five core principles keep the wheels turning:

    1. Integrity beats theatre – Say what’s true, even when it’s awkward.

    2. Own the brief, then stretch it – Challenge assumptions to unlock smarter solutions.

    3. Learn out loud – Cross‑train, shadow, swap skills; nobody “guards” their turf.

    4. Impact over ego – Success is measured in client outcomes—from safer workplaces to simpler super claims—not slide‑deck counts.

    5. Leave no teammate behind – We back each other, whether you’re crunching actuarial data or storyboarding a service blueprint.

If you like jumping fences between disciplines and sectors, you’ll feel right at home.

Want to understand the skills we have?

Multidisciplinary teams are core to the way we work. But that means bringing specialists and talented people together. We know too that people who are starting in one role, might evolve to another as they grow.

Have a look at how we work and the disciplines which exist in our teams.

  • Multidisciplinary by necessity, not marketing.

    How your career flexes here

    • T‑shaped growth: start deep, broaden fast through project rotations.

    • Skill‑share sprints: fortnightly swaps—shadow a data scientist or a change lead.

    • Micro‑credentials funded: from Python to Power BI to facilitation masterclasses.

    • Role fluidity: yesterday’s research assistant can be tomorrow’s client‑facing strategist.
